Everything Lyon produces is completely free and accessible to everyone, with no exception.
Production, research, archival, anything relevant. No skill level required. A primary source find carries the same weight as a finished remake.
If it’s found, it’s shared. If it’s made, it’s shared. Hiding things away benefits no one and hurts the collective.
Lyon does not claim ownership over the music and era it’s documenting. Watermarks, teasing, and other similar tactics are not to be used when sharing archival finds or Lyon productions. Archival finds are always credited back to the original source when known.
No monetary gains are to be made from the remakes, the research, or the community, in any way, shape, or form.
Lyon does not endorse the unauthorized acquisition of resources such as plugins or sample packs that are otherwise available for purchase, and will not host such files for download. This includes samples exclusive to Logic Pro and downloaded copyrighted songs for remix remakes.
Remakes and originals by Lyon are never presented as anything other than Lyon productions. Example: no falsely sharing as original Kygo material.
Every remake aims for complete accuracy. No substitutes, no approximations presented as definitive. Substitutes may be temporarily used if the source material is difficult to decipher.
